Starting a first army

Hello!
I’ve been itching to get into DBA and I’ve read the rules, although I’m still wondering about what army list to go with. I’m interested in the section IV armies; particularly 13-15th century lists. I like the appearance of knights, which seem like they could be used for most armies within the period I'm interested in. I’m mostly drawn to Late Polish, as well as Medieval France and a Medieval Spanish (Castilian) army.
