Good to see Mr Farrow has returned to the fray with an interesting battle from the more obscure wars of the 19th Century. Victorian British v Shogunate Japanese.

Cool game.
Who manufactures the British line? They look like the types I would need for the First Anglo-Sikh war. I had first thought about using OG15 Americans from the Mexican War list for the British, Sepoy and Gurkha troops.

I'm setting off on an Anlgo-Sikh War jaunt m'self and have some excellent figures from LKM: http://quickreactionforce.co.uk/inde...&cPath=438_610 Irregular also do some that would fit the bill, including Gurkhas. Crimean War lancers would also work. Donald Featherstone's At Them With the Bayonet is a breezy and exciting read for background on the First Sikh War. Dunc |

Dunctator,
Thanks for the tip. Featherstone's book is an excellent start as a British force of this period would have a wide range of uniform colour; Sirmoor and Nasiri battalions, Sepoys, British line, Madras cavalry, Skinner's Horse and of course the 16th.

Paul Farrow's games have always been very inspirational to me! And this one is no exception.
