Reviews of AB Miniatures

AB Miniatures features several ranges of highly detailed Napoleonics and does not offer ancient/medieval figures except for one range of 15mm Romans (circa 17 AD).

Mark Nichipor on AB's Romans

These are tall lads: a good head taller then Essex. They do not look too bad against Falcon figures but I would not mix them on the same stand. The extra size packs in great detail, with lots of neat touches. Heads, arms and legs are all turned slightly differently. Shields are seperate. the Legionaries are dressed in mail shirts, with different style helmets and equipment. Although dated for the Early Imperial I plan on using them for a Marian period army (and hope no one looks real close :) the cavalry have a real good horse look to them.

My only negitive about them is that the no new figures will be added. That's a shame since I could use light troops, and I bet the sculptor would make great warbands!
