Larry Chaban reports: This turned into a much better tournament
than we expected. TWENTY players showed up with armies stretching across
all 4 Books. Two armies were used by 3 players each, Ancient British and
Arab Conquest. The most "manly" army was used by Bruce Snoddy, with
Early Saxons (11 Wb and 1 Ps).
The Warband Chief is David Dougherty, with Early Visigoths (for which he
was awarded Steeler fuzzy dice!). He was followed up by Jack "The
Butcher" Sheriff and David "Schlang-Schlang" Schlanger. Schlang-Schlang
did get the title of General Killer as he killed the opposing general in
all 3 of his games. I would note that we did have some "less
manly" armies played as they included Kn or SCh or Art or even El!
Thanks to all the participants who made this a great event!"
