Here are photos of my Carthaginian army comprised of Essex Miniatures. This is an army I bought about 12 years ago and got round to painting just before Christmas. It doesn't seem to tie up with the DBA 2.2 army lists. It consists of two elements of Carthaginian citizen spearmen (post Sacred Band with their round white sheilds) two Spanish scutarii (with pilum) two Celt warband, two Carthaginian cavalry, two Numidian light cavalry, one Balearic slinger
psiloi and an elephant with fighting top. Essex also threw in a general figure...12 elements in all.
