Richard Speedman's Gallic II/11 (400-50 BC)
This is my first DBA Army, which made using 15mm figures from various manufacturers. The core of the army consists of figures (mostly Pass o' the North with some Xyston and others) that were given to me by my regular DBA opponent, Texas Maximus. I supplemented his gift with a few packs of Corvus Belli (chariot, cavalry and some warriors on foot). I based all the warband with 4-figures on 20mm-deep elements because I prefer the look of the greater concentration of warriors. This is my first experiment with "dipping" and I used amahogany-coloured stain, which I think worked particularly well on bare flesh and gives a weathered look to weapons and armour.
