This was my first DBA army, using Xyston figures. They were undercoated black and
drybrushed white before painting with cheap hobby acrylics and miracle dipping. I didn't
realise how much dipping would darken the final result, so would paint them brighter next
time. Shields are VVV transfers on the Sp and handpainting on Ps and Ax. My 10 year old
daughter says that this army looks "Angry" in comparison with their companions the
Phokians.
