This is my Polybian Roman (DBA II/39) army.  The figures are 15mm MiniatureWars.  Colors used: Acrylics, Vallejo and Games Workshop. Gloss varnish, then matt varnish used.
Painting references: Republican Roman Army 200-104 BC, Osprey; Rome and Her Enemies, Osprey; DBA Online Army Gallery.  Painting techniques: drybrushing, layering and washing.
Basing material: plasticard laser cut bases, putty, rocks, sand and synthetic grass.
