Chris Halverson's
Timurids
DBA IV/75

This army is one that I have slowly built up over time, with plans to make it a DBM army eventually.  This army is one I really like, Tamerlane was a nasty piece of work but conquered massive amounts of territory, never garrisoned it and kept going back to teach them a lesson but it is his institutions that brought the best artisans to Samarkand and the rest of his territories and cities that I find fascinating. The final impetus to finish the  army was my first tournament in 7 years. Hope I do well!  The figures are 90% Museum Miniatures from Eureka miniatures in Melbourne Australia and a few Irregular. Flags from Warflag and dare I say it a  magazine scan and Photoshop style manipulation to bring it down to 15mm scale. Painted in acrylics, dullcoat over the top.
