Cesar Paz's
UMAYYAD ARABS
661-750 AD
DBA III/31
Cesar Paz lives in Neuquén, Argentina, and has
scratch-built this pair of DBA armies as an Arab Imperial morph.
They are featured here as a Umayyad Arab army. Here's Cesar's
description of his technique:
"Here are photographs of the Arab Imperial
armies I have scratch-built in 9mm scale. Base sizes are those
of the 15 mm scale. For Bow, Psiloi and Auxilia elements, I have
sculpted every figure individual directly onto the bases. Spear
elements were carved in one block, and for mounted elements I
have sculpted two horses, make silicone moulds, drop-cast and
animated all the mounts and then modeled every rider on them. I
made the figures with soldering wire and two-part epoxi putty.
Weapons are of nylon. If anyone wants to know more about how I
made these figures, you can contact me by posting in the
Fanaticus Forum or directly by
email."
